Spend a weekend, a few days, or even a longer holiday in a picturesque cottage in the heart of nature.
A family from the Drahany Highlands has breathed new life into a place that was a meeting place for the whole family thanks their grandfather and a source of ideas for improving this tiny village in the middle of fields and forests for its inhabitants. The Šrámeks believe that the more people, the better the holiday. That is why they open the cottage, especially to families with children and their relatives and friends. It is also said here that fewer things do not mean fewer experiences. You won't find a swimming pool or trampoline at the cottage - it's equipped modestly, but the adjacent garden, without fences or barriers, flows into the surrounding fields, meadows, and woods, opening up space for you to move freely between the house and nature.
Accommodation capacity is 10 people in three bedrooms. Each of the bedrooms can accommodate a cot. In the attic, you will find 4 modest extra beds. The price depends on the number of rooms you occupy. A quadruple room costs 1400 CZK/night, a double room 700 CZK/night, and the whole cottage 3500 CZK/night. The minimum occupancy is one quadruple room. You will find a 1930s-style bedroom and newer bedrooms with solid wood floors. For children, the cottage has a supply of toys along with a carpet so you can create a play area for the kids. In the kitchen, you can cook on the electric induction hob with an oven and there is also a kettle, microwave, fridge with a small freezer, basic crockery, and dishwasher. There is also a restaurant at the Lada guest house near the cottage, where you can pop in for a bite to eat when you don't feel like cooking. There is also a small shop and pub in the village that opens around 5 pm. There are two bathrooms in the house - one with a corner bath and washing machine and the other with a shower. For the children, the cottage is equipped with a high chair, wooden cots, two changing tables, a potty, a reduction to the toilet, and a step to the sink. In the large garden, a sandpit swing and an outdoor kitchen await the little ones. Not far from the cottage there is also a public playground with a slide, a large sandpit, a trampoline, and swings. In summer there is also a small swimming pool.
The cottage is also now creating a common room and a playroom for the children, where there will be a sofa bed for use by other members of the party. The room can be used for board games and social evenings as well as a creative working environment for your work team. In the evening, you can sit by the fire pit or grill that is part of the fenced backyard.
The cottage has been restored with respect for the past, including materials and furnishings. Some of the rooms are furnished with well-deserved antique pieces. The owners believe that simplicity is beauty.
The owners constantly explore the hidden treasures of the Drahanian highlands, and in addition to the homelike facilities of the cottage, all sorts of tips for a rich experience will be waiting for you.
