This chateuau offers much more than just an ordinary exposition. You can also get to know about Svěrák's Elementary School, the essential czech movie classic of the legendary czech director Jan Svěrák, which has earned him an oscar nomination. After going through the exhibition you can finish the trip with a picnic in the romantic park.
In the permanent exhibition of the Svěrák filmmakers, you will see authentic props from the films The Elementary School, The Dark Blue World and Kooky. The painter Josef Mánes lived and worked in the castle for several years. You can see a unique collection of his paintings in the castle interiors during a guided tour. If the weather is nice, you can spend hours in the castle park. Whether on a tour of the castle park, a romantic stroll or a family picnic overlooking the castle. A basket full of goodies and a blanket will be prepared for you at the local café - Kafe v Parku.
