The unusual building of the chateau is adjacent to the popular recreational area of the Plumlov Dam. The chateau and its surroundings regularly come alive with concerts, theatre, fencing weekends and workshops for the whole family.
You won't see the classic castle exhibit here, but if you decide to look inside, we recommend the "Fairy Tale Cellars" tour with local stories and fables or the slightly adrenaline-filled tour of the never-occupied rooms, attic, prison and lookout bastion. Do you know the reason for the castle's unique appearance? The aristocratic Liechtenstein family ran out of money, so instead of the planned four wings, they ended up building only one. Around the castle and the neighbouring Plumlov Dam you'll find cafes, bars and restaurants and if you want to stay longer, you'll also find accommodation here.
