Konice Castle with an exhibition of handicrafts and a collection of axes
The castle gathers the biggest collection of axes in the Guinness Book of Records and an exhibition of customs and crafts.
In the unusual collection of 800 axes, you can also see exhibits dating back several thousand years or a replica of an executioner's axe. You will also learn about traditional crafts such as brewing, milling, blacksmithing, weaving, tailoring, and many others. In addition to the two permanent exhibitions, the guide will take you to the representative rooms of the Baroque castle. On the chateau's ground floor, you will find an information center, where they will arrange your tour and recommend where to go next. The surroundings of Konice are ideal for hiking and cycling.
