The undemanding regional section of the cycle path along the Bečva River is designed not only for cyclists, but also for pedestrians and, where the road surface allows it, for skaters.
It starts from the source of the Rožnovská or Vsetínská Bečva River and heads to the confluence with the Morava River. A total of 160 km of signposted paths take cyclists around the Bečva River through the Zlín and Olomouc regions. From the sources of the Rožnov and Vsetín Bečva rivers to the confluence with the Morava River, the Bečva Cycle Route allows you to discover the sights, natural beauty, folk traditions, and local specialties of Wallachia, Moravian Gate, and Haná. A large part of the cycling trail runs along newly built sections with the exclusion of motor traffic. A part of the route runs along low-traffic local roads and paved forest and field paths, and the actual minimum of the route must be completed on roads. You can visit the Zbrašov aragonite caves, the Hranice Abyss, the museums in Hranice, Helfštýn Castle, the Comenius Museum in Přerov and Tovačov Castle.
