The ruins of a large medieval mansion are today a popular excursion destination for the whole family and a centre of artistic blacksmithing.
Every year at the end of August, blacksmiths from all over the world come to Helfštýn to show off their skills. But you don't have to wait for HEFAISTON or any other of the many events. You can also see the castle grounds and exhibitions during regular guided tours. Moreover, from the glass roof of the torso of the castle palace you can enjoy a unique view not only of the castle itself, but also of the wide surroundings of the Moravian Gate. However, you can also walk through the outer and a few selected inner areas on your own, without a guide. After the tour, you will definitely appreciate the refreshments with seating in the castle courtyard.
