The family-run chocolate factory in Troubelice produces chocolates in the traditional way in melangeurs directly from cocoa beans. This method is called "bean to bar". The Bačík family imports their cocoa beans directly from plantations in distant Ecuador and their speciality is varietal cocoa beans.
The cocoa ingredients from Ecuador were not chosen by chance. The Bačiks have a family story that began almost 40 years ago in this exotic and colourful country. Cocoa beans are the most important ingredient for the production of quality chocolate and Ecuadorian ones are among the most famous and best quality in the world. By combining them with other ingredients such as cocoa butter and panela (solidified sugar cane juice) and their own original recipes, they create handmade high quality chocolates with delicious flavours and aromas. The chocolates in the Troubelice Chocolate Factory are gluten-free and contain no lecithin, additives or artificial flavours. In the Chocolate Factory Troubelice you will also find other special products such as cocoa products, gluten-free flours (banana, plantain, yucca, etc.), superfoods, Ecuadorian herbal teas, coffee from small plantations roasted in the chocolate factory itself, dried tropical fruits and many other goodies.
You can buy all these products in the Chocolate Factory Troubelice shop and enjoy a cup of freshly roasted coffee, delicious hot cocoa or hot chocolate. You can try more of the current offer in person in the newly renovated shop with a café.
