Do you know who Gustav Frištenský was? You will learn about the famous strongman in the Litovel museum and you will also be able to measure your strength with him!
Frištenský was a master of Greco-Roman wrestling at the beginning of the 20th century, he travelled almost all over the world and played the main role in the film The Prague Executioner. Frištenský was not a native from Litovel, but he found his chosen one in the daughter of a local brewer. In the museum, you will see the original awards and try out some of his fitness machines yourself. In other exhibitions, you will get to know the crafts of our ancestorsand see how musical media evolved - from the mechanical jukebox to the modern gramophone.
