Prison museum

The exhibition offers unique artefacts such as egistration cards of prostitutes, police handcuffs or torture instruments, replicas of which you can even try yourself!

In interactive kiosks you will learn about the executioner's craft, examples of the police agenda or the form of workbooks. You can become a prisoner for a while and try to write a letter home or knit a rope out of sheets to try to escape. You're unlikely to succeed, though, so you'll end up in the torture chamber, where you'll be subjected to lacing, the mace, the Spanish boot or the popular knuckle-crusher. In the end you'll also get a glimpse of the guards' room and the preserved prison chapel.
