Cycle path Behind the Living Water

The trail starts at the information center in Šternberk , following sign No. 6009. From the IC you will climb up Opavská Street towards the start of the famous Ecce Homo track and continue climbing under the "Lipinská bend" where you will turn off the track onto a paved forest road that will lead you to Dalov (local part of Šternberk). Here you have the opportunity to refresh yourself and visit the Dalovské jezírko - a natural swimming pool. You are in the Sovinecko Nature Park. You continue to Horní Loděnice via the I/46 road and continue along the 6009 cycle route along the Trusovický brook to the Těšíkov kyselka spring with its fertile mineral water. The NS Green Trail information board gives you more information and after refreshment, you continue past the Těšíkov mill to Hraničné Petrovice. Here you will follow the signs, and join the 6108 cycle route. You will continue along the road to the Petrovice Mill and upstream along the Bystřice River through Sedm Dvorů to Moravský Beroun. You can shorten the route around the train station or go to the center. In Ondrášov, you can refresh yourself again at the Ondrášovka spring and follow cycle route 6144 upstream along the Bystřice River through the picturesque surroundings of the Bystřice Valley Nature Park. South of Dětřichov nad Bystřicí, you cross the I/45 road and you still reach the highest parts of this route with No. 6144. Along the river Sitka, you will then descend to the village of Huzová, where you can rest and have a refreshment. You return along the valley of Sitka along the marked cycle route 6106 past the ruins of Mutkov Castle to Šternberk, via Horní and Dolní Žleb (inn, natural swimming pool, car camp). You arrive in the town center via Hvězdné údolí and Světlov streets.

The route has a higher elevation and is more demanding - it is also suitable for electric bikes. The length of the route is 60 km.
