Museum of Homeland History in Olomouc
The museum's permanent exhibitions will take you into the history of Olomouc, guide you through the folk traditions of the region, tell the story of the stone and introduce you to the most important personalities of the Olomouc region.
In the historical building of the museum you will see 10 permanent exhibitions. Among the most impressive are Olomouc - Fifteen Centuries of the City, which offers seven main historical themes forming a comprehensive picture of the city's history, the Gallery of Personalities of the Olomouc Region and From the Cradle to the Grave, presenting the story of birth and death, which is set in the real environment of a 19th century Hanak village and its landscape. In addition, you can look forward to a number of attractive exhibitions throughout the year!
