The caves are unique for their rich, well-preserved and varied stalactite decoration, being one of the most beautiful caves in the Czech Republic.
The underground system of the caves creates a complicated complex of passages, domes and abysses. They were formed in islands of Devonian limestone and the Špraněk stream contributed to their development. A significant part of the caves was discovered in 1938.
The total length of all known passages is over 4 000 m. There are two sightseeing routes, the longer one is 800 m long and the short one is 450 m long. The air temperature is 7-8°C.
