Baked pork bellyBaked pork belly is a Moravian classic, which can be done by anyone with no effort. Great appetizer to have with beer when hanging out with friends.
Clean the pork belly and cut a cross on the top of the skin so that the fat flows out from under the skin when roasting. Season the pork belly with salt and place on a baking tray. Add the chopped onion, garlic and seasoning to taste. Pour in beer and bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes at 160-180°C. During baking, pour over the fat. The meat must be tender and the skin cooked until crispy. It can be served hot or cold, with cabbage or just with bread. |
