Experience Litovel region by bike and on the water

You can have fun here all day long, including the kids! For example, at the biotope swimming pool, which combines the advantages of a modern swimming pool with natural bathing, or at the local museums. If you are more of a cycling enthusiast, take a bike and ride the 20 km long nature trail through the beautiful nature of Litovelské Pomoraví to Olomouc. Even children can easily handle the route. On the way, stop at the Šargoun Information Centre, where you will learn interesting facts about local nature and see an exhibition on the history of beekeeping. Around Šargoun there is an easy eight-kilometre circuit - the Lesánek cycle route, which is manageable even with a stroller.

The flooded quarry in Nová Ves, just 6 km from Litovel, is ideal for lounging by the water. If you head the opposite way from Litovel, towards Olomouc, you will come across the popular Náklo sandpit after about 9 km.

For fishing, delicious food, relaxation, and sports, head to the recreation area in Sobáčov. At the large pond for sport fishing with three islands, you can fish all day and night. There are also tennis courts with artificial turf, a beach volleyball and netball court, a multifunctional playground, a family guesthouse, a restaurant with a smokehouse, a camping site, fishing huts, bicycle, and scooter rental, and a charging station for electric bikes. Moreover, it is a short walk from here to the most attractive tourist sites of the region - the Javoříčko and Mladeč caves, the fairytale castle Bouzov or the family farm Doubravský dvůr, where they produce the best ice cream from homemade cottage cheese!
