What's the first thing you think of when you hear the word Telegraph? If you think of a device that for many years has enabled people to express, share and transmit as well as receive and draw, you are not far from the truth. The Telegraph is a place where support for the arts and its creation meets a space for everyday work alongside culture and gastronomy. Located in a former telegraph factory, the complex creates an unforgettable atmosphere for a cultural experience.
The gallery features domestic and international art from the last three decades and captures waves of well-known and overlooked artists. So you can see all forms of expression regardless of genre. Exhibitions are held at regular intervals, and artists often head here for residencies - you can then admire pieces created in Telegraph.
On the upper floors, as well as a café and coworking space, you'll also find a cinema with a great intimate atmosphere, showing contemporary art films, documentaries, or even commercial films from all over the world. There are also theatre performances, lectures, and talk shows.
Workshops and art courses are also held here.
The Telegraph building can be found a short walk from the main railway station in Olomouc on Jungmannova Street.
