The church is one of the most valuable Gothic buildings in Moravia and boasts the largest organ in Central Europe.
Every year in September, the organ rings out as part of the International Organ Festival. After extensive reconstruction, the church is now a significant feature of the center of Olomouc. It can be found in the neighborhood of Horní náměstí, near the tram stop "U sv. Mořice". Not only the interior of the church is accessible, but also its 46 m high lookout tower with an exhibition that will introduce you to the history of the church, the tower, and the city itself. From the church, take a tour of Upper and Lower square and then head towards Václavské náměstí (Wenceslas Square) - the Archdiocesan Museum and St. Wenceslas Cathedral.
