Experience the past with all your senses and get a behind-the-scenes look at archaeological laboratories that rarely open their doors to the public.

Program:
Prehistoric Kitchen: Baking flatbread and tasting Celtic food.
Fire and Metal: Live bronze smelting and making replicas of glass beads.
Traditional Workshops: Flax processing, weaving, basket weaving, and working with stone, bone, or antler.
Creative Workshops: Grinding grain on a stone mill and making prehistoric bracelets or jewelry.

Tours & Up-Close Lab Views & Lectures

A glimpse into archaeological laboratories, drawing rooms, and university workplaces that are normally off-limits to the public.
Guided tours of the new Mohelnice exhibition.
The story of the archaeological site and the “Story of Stone” exhibition.
3D scanning of artifacts and a demonstration of what happens to objects after they’re excavated.
Stories about the beginnings of metallurgy, the longhouses of the first farmers, and prehistoric wells.
