Potato pie

Potato pie

You think potatoes can't make a good pie? Yes, they can! Check out our simple recipe and taste it.

  • 1 kg boiled potatoes
  • salt
  • jam/marmalade
  • 200 g semi-coarse flour
  • 100 g plain flour
  • icing sugar
  • butter

Boil the potatoes in their skins and leave to cool. Once cooled, peel them and grate them on a coarse grater. Place them on a baking sheet (buttered and floured) in a reasonable layer. Season with salt and spread the jam or marmalade evenly over the surface of the potatoes. Sprinkle over the crumble, which you have made from plain flour, sugar and butter. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 35 minutes. Until the potatoes are browned on the bottom and the crumble is beautifully golden.
